About the organisation
About the role
Since our foundation in 1949, UNSW Sydney has improved and transformed lives in Australia and globally.
This year marks the launch of UNSW’s new long-term strategy, Progress for All – an ambitious 10-year roadmap that drives societal impact. In consultation with more than 9000 students, staff, alumni, donors and other partners, four key impact focus areas have emerged: accelerating the transition to a sustainable society; advancing economic and social prosperity; enabling healthy lives; and strengthening societal resilience, security and cohesion.
In line with this, UNSW is seeking a bold and creative leader to shape a sector-leading alumni strategy – one that harnesses the collective power of 400,000+ alumni to support the University’s global ambitions.
As Director of Alumni Experience you will reimagine what’s possible, leading a bold and inclusive alumni strategy that aligns with the University’s ambition to deliver ‘Progress for All’. Working closely with the Chief Advancement Officer, this senior role is pivotal in building a dynamic, data-informed program that deepens connection, celebrates impact, and creates lifelong value for alumni. You’ll be outcomes-driven and ready to pioneer new approaches to inspire pride, belonging and advocacy across our global alumni community.
You will be someone who brings creativity, insight and strategic storytelling to the heart of the alumni experience.
We welcome applications from those with leadership experience in a senior customer service-oriented role, gained in a large, complex organisation in the not for profit or corporate sector, as well as from experienced advancement professionals.
